MIRROR

 "MIRROR"

How much isolation can you handle? Probably less than you think.

The Mirror is an exploration of the limits of isolation. Two people are placed under the microscope of this exploration. Two people immersed in their own personal sealed space. A stage space divided into sections of isolation and two performers moving within these narrow boundaries. The mirror between cold and frozen does not allow the exceed. Small and suffocating the space that defines the ego and the only way out is the doll that comes to life. Two dolls that, coming to life, reflect the suffocating burdens and have no other desire than to break the boundaries of isolation and converse. A homeless woman who manages to set up on the street a whole universe of objects that house her very own existential palace, and a refugee woman alone and without support from anywhere, who holds a deafening cry for help. The Mirror is a performance that takes a step backwards, where rehearsal emerges as a flash of truth about existential, political and social man. By stepping back, perhaps we can see the whole, critique it and decisively overturn it.

Finally, how much isolation can you really handle? Much more than you think.
